The Fremont STEM Academy Staff

  • Don Ryan: Principal/Administrator

My name is Don Ryan, and I am eager to get to know all of you! I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than 16 years. Prior to becoming the principal here, I worked with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of roles as well as in rural, urban and suburban settings. I have been a high school and elementary school special education teacher, dean of students, summer school coordinator, and 4k-5th grade elementary school principal.

On a personal note, my wife Erika and I have two daughters, Teagan who will be going into 4k, and Emerson who will be in 2nd grade. As a family, we enjoy traveling, swimming, and watching packer games. As for me, I enjoy reading, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors – teachers, students, and parents – is excited to be here! Working together, we can achieve academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. I look forward to working with you as a team, to help every student at the STEM Academy meet their goals and have success.

Hello! My name is Brianna Lubbers. I am excited to be teaching at Fremont STEM Academy. I graduated from UW-Green Bay with a Bachelor's in Education and Psychology. Later, I went on for my Masters in Education- School Counseling. This is my tenth year teaching, but my first year as an educator in PBL. My prior experience primarily includes teaching middle school literacy and middle school science.

There are endless opportunities to enjoy the things we love most nearby, which include camping, boating, fishing, & hiking. We are enjoying navigating these adventures with our 15-month-old son and mini Goldendoodle Lambeau. Of course, that means we love the Packers! We also have a cat named Elsa.
